what apears to be a tsr2 in anime

have always enjoyed military themed anime but this one perked my interest due to the aircraft in it . I was watching the first episode and well they roll the first aircraft out and blow me down if was not a dead ringer for a TSR-2 , mind you the third engine is well not right nor is the pilots control positioning but being Japanese anime they had to get that view into the show somehow . Also appears to use a Yak-28 as the trainer .

Be aware it is typical of anime and is a "shounen" which loosely translates as girl love but is not an ecchi so no actual frontal displays etc . in western terms would be a m rating . the aircraft are very interesting and I am looking forward to seeing what the last aircraft in the series actually looks like .

I have to say the idea of flying an aircraft in a position that best resembles being on all fours is hilarious . I can only imagine the G forces on their backs and necks and the sweet sound of vertebrae snapping on take-off but hey it is well drawn and the aircraft look fantastic . The Mig-31 modified to be an ASAT style meteor interceptor is awesome but the footage of the test school was even better . I watched the entire series and loved it . not as good as area 88 but then again nothing is .
