Previously classified, near-geosynchronous, two-satellite constellation, to be launched later this year, with a possible two-satellite follow-on in 2016. Announced by AF Space Command at Air Warfare Symposium:

I think the two satellite follow-on is confirmed, not "possible." The only issue is if they really will be launched in 2016 or delayed as needed.

What I don't understand is why this program was classified to begin with. That doesn't really seem necessary, unless they were worried about revealing the existence of maneuverable GEO satellites.

But space situational awareness is an acknowledged Space Command mission. Indeed, they share information with other users. They will tell people if something may hit their satellite.
