Does anybody have information about various competitors and they proposal to US Air Force PAVE COIN program ?

I know the Piper PA-48 Enforcer was one of its competitors.

Other aircraft involved in this evaluation were the Beechcraft Model D33, the Fairchild AU-23A, the Helio AU-24A, the Cessna Model 206 and the American Electric Pirahna. The real name of the project was Little Brother. For more information you must read the book "Gunships" by Wayne Mutza,Speciality Press.

Was it PAVE COIN or Project Little Brother, or both?

Project Little Brother started on 1963,gathering Cessna 337, 226,O-1, Beechcraft Model S35 Piper Cherokee and American Electric Pirahna.

Pave Coin in 1971 had three elements: armed utility STOL, strike and FAC.

Utility STOL: Stallion, Turbo Porter
Strike: Enforcer, Super Pinto, A-37, Beech PD-249 ( subsequently withdrawn and resubmitted to Credible Chase )
FAC: Beech-Macchi AM3C
