To know the source would be good for further research. ;)
The wing center section and the circle indicated there could suggest, that it was designed especially for
big tubular cargo, rocket stages maybe ?

It was also mentioned in a russian book, I will try to translate and post here.

As I understand,

it is an Antonov An-225 twin fuselage,designed by TsAGI.

This is TsAGI concept of superheavy long-range transport aircraft studied in 1978-1987. Various designs with payload from 500 to 700 tons were studied, including LNG fueled, having air cushion landing gear system and Aviadvigatel D-110 powered version with some LO tech added.

I guess that ICBM as a payload is one of the obvious guesses. May be even with TEL as Satan was just 200+ tons.

Do you know the dimensions of these two variants? The first one I posted uses prop engines. Any idea of this engine model?
