Here is a extremely rare photo of the Boeing Electric Commuter Jet which was proposed sometime in the 1980's. The Commuter Jet was like a bus which would pick up from like parking lots and other smaller areas. Boeing design is more like a "UFO" like and would VTOL capability like the Avrocar and Harrier. It would have a heavy flywheels that would spun around in opposite directions and would use a air compressor that will shoot air out of its rear of the jet to press it forward. The jet was also very quiet and was capable of carrying 100 passengers.
Another unknown Boeing project back in the 1980's.The Boeing tail-first Intercity Transport is a small commuter jet that will use liquid hydrogen and would land on airstrips smaller than 1,500ft along with traveling 500mph carrying around 100 passengers.
