From Flying Review 12/1964,

here are early drawings for Lockheed YF-12A fighter, from many magazines.

Re: Early imagine for Lockheed YF-12A from many Magazines

Score one for the Geneva team, and a pox and murrain on the w***kers who finally destroyed that organization.

What was AW&ST thinking with version 2? They must have been talking to Slick Goodlin.

Nobody got the canted tails, though. I have that issue of FRI in my storage unit, including words to the effect that "statements that 'the A-11 is made entirely of titanium' are patently false". Woopsers.

Dr. Hidemasa Kimura(木村秀政, YS-11, A-26, Kokenki and Kawanishi TB designer) said in AIREVIEW magazin's discussion(1964) seeing AIREVIEW's YF-12A 3 side view by famous Kikuo Hashimoto(橋本喜久男), that "Flight 3 side view is good. Thick wing is very draggy at Mach3."
Kikuo Hashimoto thought the possibility of wing conical camber(コニカル・キャンバ).
Dr.Hidemasa Kimura also said about the superiority of Lockheed L-2000 SST in this discussion.

I think that INTERAVIA's one is excellent except left and light engine interval.
Engine interval of Flight plan view is good. I want to see Flight 3 side view. Please anyone show us.
No one expected the stealthy inclined vertical tail stabilizer.

Bottom picture is SR-71 front view. You can see wing conical camber.
