In the very first Thnunderbirds Episode "Trapped in the Sky" the London Airport building features the letters BAOC (based on the British Airways predecessor BOAC) as a rival to the Air Terrainean company who flew the Fireflash.
As a BOAC fan I always hoped to see the BAOC version. So 50 years later, thanks to the brilliant guys in the Philippines, in 1/350 scale here she is

Thanks to the wonderful Aviation Retail Direct shop in Hillingdon working with Bravo Delta models and their Philippines modelmakers I now have a 1/200 version. Now all I need is cardboard blow up of that old airport photo.

A beautiful concept, and a well executed model. However, they failed to buff out the 'orange-peel' that spoils the gloss finish. A little more elbow-grease and the presentation would be perfect.
