I'm looking for information, technical data, 3-line drawings, pictures etc. about Mack T8 double-ender tank transporter.

T1 At 46 feet long, 10 feet wide, 12.5 feet high when carrying an M4 medium tank, it would have weighed 30 tons net, and 70 tons with maximum payload. The cabs and gunner’s positions were to have been armor plated. It was to have used 18.00×24 tires, and the rear unit would detach itself to allow loading or unloading. Two winches were to be mounted on the gooseneck of the platform section. Each unit was to be powered by a Hall-Scott 400 engine with a Spicer fluid coupling and transmission. The chain driven bogies were to be steered by braking, and the rear unit was to have hydraulic jacks for lifting the rear end of the platform.

T4 units had a pair of Cadillac 90-degree V-8 engines installed, with a total horsepower rating of 440 at 3400 rpm. A hydraulic coupling (fluid drive) passed the power to a manual transmission, and then on into the drive axle. Steering was accomplished by a hydraulic cylinder which pivoted the front unit only. There was no suspension, tires were 24.00×32, speed was 18 miles per hour, and the net weight was 74,300 pounds, while gross weight was 150,000 pounds

The unladen weight of the T8 was 95,000 pounds, and it was almost 60 feet long. It used 21.00×29 tires, could carry 80,000 pounds, and used a Model 441 Hall-Scott engine at each end. The 441 was a 1,090 cubic inch inline six cylinder model which developed 240 horsepower at 2,000 rpm on the test stand. The T8E1 version used Ford’s Model GAA tank engines, which developed 500 horsepower each at 2,600 rpm from 1100 cubic inches.
