Can a superconducting magnetic energy storage be used to provide energy to rocket during lift off?? superconductors need very low temperatures to operate.. that low temperature can be pr showbox ovided by liquid hydrogen.. electricity can be used to electrically heat liquid hydrogen via electric arc inside rocket engine and create thrust.. superconductor can be immersed in liquid hydrogen.. can anybody explain with facts and calculations like y it hasn't been tried..

Even though the thread is three years old, your idea of using superconducting magnetic energy storage for rocket lift-off remains a fascinating concept. While it's true that superconductors require very low temperatures to operate efficiently, there might have been technical, practical, or cost-related challenges that prevented this idea from being widely adopted.
