This is a composite time lapse of it making two orbits of approximately 30 minutes each. This was the Air Force Mission Employment Phase training over TTR on Dec 2012. They crashed an MQ-9 Reaper near there a week before that.

And here is the close up. It is a series of exposures 25 seconds apart.

That entire trail of the second pic is 25 seconds? Wowser, that's crawling through the air! Did you hear anything at all?

No, each of the "links" in the second pic represent 25 seconds of exposure, so it was even slower than you think. You can see it in the video below at around the 1:30 mark, and then again at the 1:58 mark. The crew was right nearby, at the bonfire in the video off to the right, and they did not hear a sound.

Could it be a satellite in a tundra orbit? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tundra_orbit

Other web pages have people commenting that the so-called "TR6 Telos" seen in another topic recently exists but is just a high altitude blimp. Could there be a connection here?

TR6 is from a fantasy craft page:

The designation, name and details certainly ARE pure invention, but this is supposed to be based on sightings. Of course I couldn't say for sure if there is any element of truth in it, I wasn't there... :-\
