There has been some talk of Russian EMP warheads on a number of delivery platforms. I haven't found any good sources that actually summarize all the relevant info though:

Would really need a primer on:
1. How is weapon effectiveness roughly measured? Total energy? Peak power?
2. How does difference performance impact effects on various target at various distances?
3. What kind of performance does existing systems have and what is in service?
4. What were the development history and what is the projected future development path in terms of capability, relevant technology and methods?
5. What are the tactical doctrine for system use?
Really, so many questions.
