OK I have been a bit slack, thought I would put some information together on the development of PZL's Skorpion SABA.

Damn! That's a wicked looking aircraft. Going with the old truism, if this looks wicked, it would fly wicked too... And for a considerable amount less than a late-model F-16 or a Super Rhino... But, I'm not the Chancellor of the Exchequer... Even at home ;)

What a nice looking little aircraft that was, even looked fairly stealthy. Too bad it was never developed.

In Jane's Soviet Intelligence, a May 1991 article on the PZL Orlik also mentions the PZL 230, but in this case an earlier design powered by two PT6 turboprops rather than turbofans.
