Piasecki YH-16 Competition

Hi,

in 1948,the USAF issued a specification for a very large transport
helicopter which could carry forty troops,I don't know the tenders
in this competition,but I suggest that;

Piasecki PV-15 (YH-16)
Sikorsky DS-?,
Bell D-?
Hiller Model-?
Kaman K-?,
McDonnell M-?
Hughes ?
Gyrodyne GCA-?
Kellett K-?

Can anyone add ?.

maybe the McDonnell M-46 was submitted to this competition ?.

This topic leaves questions to me.
First of all, where did you get the 2010 data concerning the competition and contenders from. Secondly where did you get the suggestion that it may have included the McDonnell M-46? What are the references for this all? Do you have an illustration of the M-46?
