P2V-7 Cargo/Transport Conversion

Good Day All - I came across a line drawing in an article about the Kawasaki C-1 in the March 1979 issue of Aviation Journal, a Japanese publication much like Koku-Fan.
The drawing shows a cargo/transport conversion of the P2V-7 - have not seen this before and wondered if anyone has more about this proposal.

Would be interesting to see a head on view, so as to determine if the new cargo compartment was bulged or not.

Seems a ad-hoc way of deliverying a mediocre transport capability, when one considers the specifically designed transport/cargo aircraft designs on offer at the time!
I wouldn't think it would offer much STOL
capability either!
