I was searching the forum for Threads for unbuilt WWI fighters and Found nothing. Is There no intrest in this? I thought with the anniversory Of WWI coming soon there would be at least afew?

There certainly is interest and there already are threads dealing with WW I fighter project, e.g.here
http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,12923.msg172611.html#msg172611,
but, I admit scattered around and probably not always easy to find.
If you have stuff, just post it, but a generic thread "WW I fighter projects" certainly would become
cumbersome quite quickly, so I would suggest something like "Dornier WW I Fighter Projects",
or the like.

Thanks Jemimba. I Do have an intrest in the little known german Aviatik Fighters. :)

Hi Mustang,

I know a little known Aviatik aircraft, but not fighter as I guess, called Type A or Eindecker,
it was a monoplane of 1912,powered by single Argus engine, only one aircraft was built,
not to be confuse with Aviatik 1912 designs.

Thanks Hesham. James Miller Has a Series Of WWI Aviation Books On Different German AC Builders And One Is Aviatik.[Just Found Out] I Think There Is Also One For Roland. :) Cheers, Dale

Hi Mustang,

only the LFG Rolland D.VIII,D.X,D.XI and D.XII are not known.
The LFG Roland D.VIII was the second D.VII prototype fitted with a geared version of the Benz Bz.IIIb, the Bz.IIIbm.
