Project started in 1986, got a new push in 1989 after Boeing Condor UAV appearence, and was cancelled in 1993 due lack of funding. Shown are:
a-c). Two first iterations, with turboprop and turbojet engines, plus manned turboprop version - cabin was interchangable with payload Q-nose, and to be used just during test trials. Of course, that must have been Aeroflot aircraft, Soviet Airlines needed such a planes very much...

d).The last, eight iteration with TPD-20 turbopiston/turbodiesel engines.

Specs
Wingspan - 61 m
Lenght - 19.1 m
Height - 7.2 m
Cruising altitude - 20 km
Cruising speed - M=0.4
Flight duration - 24-33 h
TOW - 12 000 kg

Can You Help Me To Identify An Aircraft?

Hi Everyone!

Can someone help me to identify this Russian aircraft?
In the picture's caption, it says M-62, but it seems that more than one design seems to bear that designation.
Would any three-view line drawings be available of this aircraft?

Thanks!!!

Chuck

Dear Borovik, please read forum rules once more. Always mention source book, please... Don't put all the book contents on the web - may be, it will help Mr. Bruk and Mr. Udalov issue several volumes...some day.

Agree. Has Understood. My apologies.

Borovik, you can post images, and we are very grateful for your interesting posts, but please mention the name of the book or magazine that is the source of the image. You can do it in Russian if that is easier for you.
