Hi everyone. I stumbled upon this video of two marines tossing what seems to be a Molotov cocktail on Japanese positions.

Seems logical given that flamethrowers were popular anti-fortification weapons but were always in short supply. Just the sort of thing someone would impovise. Now, whether it would work is another question. Impovised Molotovs using just gasoline and burning rags are notoriously unreliable.
