Don't really know myself. Last I heard was that the MiG fifth gen fighter project was back on. Perhaps our Russian friends on this forum know what's up at Mig.

Which one exactly? PAK FA contender, E-721, is dead for a while. Lightweight fighter was included in GPV 2020 but then left unfunded.
According to recent reports, MiG currently working on 15 ton class bird, feeding it from the own budget.

Flateric, forgive my possible lack of attention, but was there any info (configuration etc) on MiG's PAK-FA E-721 contender released?

If I'm not completely wrong, then in the new Harpia book from Piotr Butowski there is a small image ... however I don't know how reliable it is.

So nothing official.
I suppose one could assume that if it was a contender for the PAK FA, that it probably was roughly of a certain size category?
Could one also assume that wind tunnel models exist?
