ORIGINAL CAPTION: A modern 'Mayflower' which is fully autonomous, will become the first unmanned vessel to cross the Atlantic Ocean in 2020.

FYI. Visiting the Mayflower replica near Plymouth Rock (or wherever it is) is well worth it, surprisingly. Some of the volunteers who share the history are incredibly well informed, balanced and engaging. Probably real historians not volunteers given a script. Clear difference between real history and popular myths.

Tiny bit off topic but another cool catamaran looking to dash across the Atlantic http://www.mby.com/news/team-great-britain-atlantic-record-49212 - haven't seen many recent articles though. Very very advanced design.
