Found this original "Press Release" from 1955 in my folks things in Baltimore, MD. Dad was a former Martin employee at the Middle River, MD plant just prior to his induction into the Army in late 1944. I believe he was a an airframe painter and worked on the PBM Mariner production line.

I can recall going to air shows at Martin in the 50's and seeing static displays of this Republic F-84 Thunderjet ZLL. I'm not sure why my dad had this press release but I thought some people on this forum might find it interesting. The photo is glued to the top of the "NEWS About Martin" letterhead.

Thanks a lot for sharing! If you come across more aviation-related stuff in your dad's archives, feel free to share!

I also found a couple b/w photos, from what appears to be the mid 50s at Martin Middle River,MD of the Matador missile, also on a "zero length" launch truck. Will scan and post later.
