In an issue of Popular Mechanics, July 1995 IIRC, they had a cover story titled "Titans of the Sky" and in it they had a twin-engined cargo plane that they attributed to Lockheed. Very Big Aircraft (VBA)? Is this Popular Mechanics fantasy? I haven't been able to find information about this aircraft in any other source.

Only two engines for such a big plane?. Is there any engine in that class?

GE90-115 should be able to handle that with no problem.

Any landing you can walk away from, is a good one.

No, but then again, nothing on the cover of Popular Mechanics ever comes true.
