Re: Summary of F-94 Starfire Proposals

The guy that is selling this has a lot of other interesting report/documents but its a little pricey. If he drops his prices I may need to open my bank up and go for some of these.
 
Interesting find hesham, and just as a clue: The documents posted by Paul were offered on eBay
and posted in that section. As the auction is over, I've moved those posts here to this, hopefully
appropriate section.
 
I acquired this image years ago from Lockheed and its marked as the premier YF-94 except for lightning bolt on its nose and triple red stripes on its rear. It looks more like a full-scale engineering mockup rather than an actual airplane. Can anyone shed some more light on this? -SP

This is probably 48-356. Built as a P-80C, converted to a TF-80C and then to the prototype YF-94A. First flight as YF-94A in April 1949. It later became a gate guardian, your photo may be from that time. According to Baugher's web site, it is still in storage at Edwards.
