Recently came across this image in an Air Force Times dated 4 June 1969. Obviously a fantasy -- it shows something like 40 passenger seats (!!). But those were optimistic days. Does anybody have anything more on this design? And perhaps some better imagery?

The design was officially called the Lockheed Star Clipper. Lots of imagery on the web, and, IIRC, lots more in Scott's APR referenced above.

Here's a Star Clipper model in the LTV/Vought Low Speed Wind Tunnel.

From the Vought Heritage Foundation Archives.

Enjoy the Day! Mark
