Wondering if Lockheed envisaged it as a potential successor to the C-5 Galaxy. Boeing has been tinkering with airlifter BWB designs as a replacement for the C-5 Galaxy, but given that the C-5 will remain in service for the foreseeable future after the upgrading of in-service airframes as the C-5M, the fielding of a C-5 successor is remote. I'm sure the Lockheed BWB airlifter study from the 80s will be featured in American Secret Projects Volume 3.
