Kaman K-16 STOL project

Shown in InterAvia 7/1958 was this project for a STOL aircraft, with props
fitted with collectiv and cyclic adjustable flaps for use at low speeds. For
take-off and landing would have been accomplished at an high angle of attack,
supported on the ground by a landing gear consisting of four skids.
It was intended as a multi-purpose aircraft, the layout reminds me on several
COIN aircraft.

Der Flieger 11/1957 describes it as Kaman K-16 - not to confuse with the different K-16B.

Ah, good clue ! I had a look at the list you've posted, but couldn't find
aything, that seemed to be similar.
Will try to get Der Flieger 11/1957 next time !

Wow! Beautiful. Not in top shape but such a nice and rare design.

Here's two pics of the original project. I know they are already somewhere on the forum but for those who are as lazy to go search as I am right now, here goes! If a mod wants to remove them, please do so.

Photographs of Kaman K-16 desktop model found on eBay.

Seller's description:

This is a vintage professional made desk display model. It is a Kaman K-16. I have been able to find some information on the Kaman K-16B, but I couldn't find any information on the Kaman K-16.
From nose to tail the model measures 10 1/4" and the wingspan is 9 1/2". The model is missing one blade on one of the propellers.
It looks and displays well.
