I`m doing a 1hour online lecture on WW2 fighter engine technology for the
Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Broadly the lecture focuses on understanding
the "why`s" of how German fighter engine development had so many problems.

Free for anyone to "attend" but requries registration.

9th July at 18:00 BST (London time).

There will be some curated Q&A
at the end which I believe you`ll be able to submit questions on
during the lecture.

Excellent and highly enlightening lecture. Thanks Calum.

Thanks to all who attended, I must admit I find it far far more difficult to do a webinar where i cant see the audience - or point at things on the slides. But the feedback seems positive, IMECH report that about 720 people registered of whom 430 actually logged on. I`m told thats quite respectable. Its just a shame its only 1hour as you can only make the most brief overview. I hope the central message was clear, which is that the engineers were very capable everywhere, (British, German and American) but that poorly organized groups of talented people do not do well.
