Dear Hesham!
The designation Il-108 have two quite different aircraft:
1. Small bizplane both with jet and prop variants/
2. Biz-jet very look like Cessna Citation

When I learn how to attach pix here, I will do))))
Ucon: click on "Additional Options" (to the left bottom of new post window) and then click "Browse" to attach a picture. To attach more pictures, up to 8, click on "(more attachments)".

In the FLIGHT International article that hesham took the pics from (9-15 May 1990), we can read that "the design will be offered as either a nine-seat executive aircraft or a a 15-passenger commuter." So perhaps these weren't such radically different designs as you thought?
