HFB Luft-Yacht project .

Interesting find, could well be worth to bid on it, but certainly the price won't be still just 1,- €.

Have downloaded the photos, that clearly belong to the HFB Luftyacht to prevent
them from getting lost.

Additional information, that can be found on those snippets:
Length 12.15 m, span 16.6 m, height 3.30 m, wing area 25 qm,
weight of fuselage 1,300 kg, weight of engines 440 kg, equipment 370 kg,
empty weight 2,110 kg.

Are you sure , the Luft-Yacht and HFB 146 are the same project ? I had the feeling , the HFB 146 was a land plane .

The Luft-Yacht is a Pohlmann design ( signature on the first picture )

Pohlmann worked at Junkers before the war (W 33 , Ju 87 ... ) , then (1940) at Blohm und Voss , 1950 at CASA in Spain , and 1955 back to HFB ( the earlier B & V )

Yes, sorry, you may be right, I've corrected my post. I've thought of the Luftyacht as an amphibium,
but actually that isn't supported by the drawing. The HFB 146 description is about an aircraft for light
transport purposes, suitable for rougher terrain, but of course it may have been a pure land plane.

The Luft-Yacht document is dated 12-12-1955. Note the spelling of "Hamburger Fahrzeugbau" (Hamburg Vehicle Co) not Flugzeug. This must have been the very early days of Bohm's new company.
