How does a HK G11 work?
It's a strange weapon. Can you find a user manual on the internet? How do you clear a stoppage (the weapon hasn't got an casing ejection opening to eject the dud)?

Search YouTube for HK G11. It fires caseless ammunition and I have no idea what happens if a caseless shell is a dud.

The cocking handle rotates the chamber, which forces an unspent round out through an unloading port on the bottom of the rifle.

Pretty much all of us who were around at the time, I would imagine. But for the fall of the Warsaw Pact this was in line to become the Bundeswehr's standard infantry weapon, together with the LMG11 (using a block of rounds loaded into the butt) and the P11 handgun, all firing 4.73mm caseless rounds (4.73x33mm for the rifle and LMG, 4.73x25mm for the pistol IIRC). It was also submitted to the US Army's Advanced Combat Rifle trials along with the AAI ACR and Steyr ACR (both flechette firing) and Colt ACR (duplex rounds).
