It's MZKT-8022 5P71 transporter-erector-launcher for S-125 "Pechora 2M" SAM:

S-125-2M-Pechora-2M-M.Jerdev-MAKS2011-1S.jpg

Modern Russian-Belarus upgrade for legacy missile system. The missile itself is equipped with a new fuze, the control system is fully digital, and the radar tracking system (also upgraded) is reinforced with electro-optical passive tracking system (the S-125 is command-guided SAM, i.e. it's irrelevant for missile how exactly the target is tracked; the missile is guided by commands from fire control computer that processes the sensors data).

Egypt brought the number of "Pechora-2M" systems in 2000s.

Yeah the Scud industry started sometime before that, thanks by the way!

I wonder if any of them have been converted into surface-to-surface missiles like some SA-2 Guidelines were?

@hesham my brother from egypt, do you know anything about modern-day egyptian missles?

A testimony for history,
30 years ago, in the second Gulf War, the coalition forces, led by America and the Arab forces, complained about the Iraqi Scud missiles, and that the Patriot missiles were completely unable to shoot them down completely, and that when the operations began, these forces feared that dozens of them might be fired, and the Egyptian response was that they could Providing full protection, and the Egyptian Amoun system was modified for the Italian SkyGuard missiles, after making a 16 modifications to it, and the results were excellent.

Any modern-day unguided rockets???

Egypt's pertinent efforts to develop ballistic missiles started when Egypt's Royalist Government under the auspices of King Farouk, examined long-range rocketry. Stymied by the tripartite dclaration of 1950, which restricted arm exports to Egypt. West Germany helped Cairo reconstitute its military capabilities. The West German Government authorized the departure of 71 military experts, who arrived at Cairo by early-1951 to train the Egyptian army for explosive ordnance disposal, communicational capabilities, and naval gunnery.

Dr Wilhem Voss was tasked with tinkering a "small-caliber rocket" dubbed "CERVA". Dr. Voss had no experience in rocketry, he turned to a German known to us today as Herr Fuellner to recruit several german scientists. 1656585286020.png 1656585296855.png

Hi
Thank you for this unexpected thread which I discover very late. Where can we find info on this "Negma" satellite project?

Also, I was a close friend of Hartmut Sänger and we discussed Eugen Sänger – his father – involvement in the egyptian affair at length. For very personal reasons, I was suoer pushy on this subject and really wanted to understand what Sänger has done in Egypt, the real extent of his involvement. To the very best of my knowledge, and after having see all the trip logs, very few time was spent in Egypt. Days. The media hype was very high against Eugen Sänger at a time when Israel and Germany had to bridge a diplomatic gap. This was the timeframe of the Eichman trial. However, a younger generation of engineers gravitationg around Eugen and possibly more actively around Irene was far mire involved in Egypt. Eugen was an idealist superbad at politics.
