Hi,
the concept of applying suction at the nose of forebodies at high angles of
attack to control the vortex flow was tested in two dynamic wind-tunnel
experiments on large scale versions of the Defence Research Agency (DRA)
High Incidence Research Model (HIRMI) in the DRA 24ft wind tunnel.
