Dear Boys and Girls, here is an article in French about the Doman LZ-5 transport helicopter prototypes which featured a gimballed and hingeless rotor system……

The article comes from the 18th July 1959 issue of Les Ailes......

Whoops! It's a Doman, period!

I believe that the fact that you wrote "DuPont" as one single word suggests you may have wrongly assumed some connection with the DP-2 aircraft.

Du Pont (two words) is one of the world's leading chemical companies and was merely one of the suppliers that Doman contracted with.
