A few years ago I bought a book on Curtiss Tiltrotors. Lots of good info, pictures and drawings. I used the drawings of the Model 203 to create a CAD file with the idea of making a 3D printed set of parts. What I was wondering is if anyone has any suggestions as to what would make a good scale to print this out at ? I would like to do a interior and I'm not sure what would make a good plastic helicopter model to scavenge parts from. I am sort of aiming it at being a search and rescue vehicle based on a drawing in the book but at this point anything is possible.

Once I have a good idea on the interior parts I can scale the geometry to the part model size and then work on getting it printer ready.

Thanks,
Chris

Very interested Project,

thank you ChrisH,but where is the original drawing for it ?.

Wonderful work! As far as an interior I would say that any similar sized cargo rotorcraft (CH-46/47, V-22) would serve well for interior. Very utilitarian, with lots of in flight maintenance access. Sidewall flip-down canvas seats, etc.

Please do keep us abreast of your modeling efforts.

Thank you Chris,

but what was the source for this drawing ?.
