Thanks guys! ;)

Now...let's play a game. What aircraft is the one below here? ;)

Regards.

Nice work! :)

Oh! I saw in one of your past post a Miles 52 - really interesting.
Coincidentally I did it too, recently, but in another angle and composition

Waiting for your next works!

This VTOL aircraft are some of CONVAIR projects. or not

No, it's not a Convair project.
But you're right on the fact that it's a VTOL, moreover a tailsitter :D

Aaaand...Boxkite, you're the winner ;D

I bow down to your vast knowledge!
I stumbled upon it last month just for accident while looking for something else entirely, otherwise I'd have never known of its existence.
It reminded me very much of the early Nord 1500 Griffon and it was love at first sight ;)

Regards.

And a couple more...

Convair Kingfish, configuration 257, and SIAI S.M.110 Chimera, early Alitalia livery (known as the "Pentagramma") ;)

Regards.

Convair Supersonic Carrier Based Attack Reconnaisance Aircraft, from 1961.
Kudos to Flateric, who pointed me to this project ;)

I'm enjoying the drawings, especially of that SIAI S.M. 110 Chimera. It's a beautiful plane, if it'd be a beast to fly if one of the outboard engines flamed out. What more information do you have about it? Or is it fictional?

Thanks guys!

But how does it land? ???

Like any other aircraft with a landing gear?

Not fictional, but I don't have much more than what you can find here on this site.

A quickie ;)

AFRL ESAV.
Not many details about this one, I'm afraid.

Hope you'll enjoy nonetheless.

I think the air and ground crew would give that plane the nickname 'Pinocchio' or possibly 'Platypus'.

"Defender of the Empire" ;)

Very nice additions CiTrus90, the P.187 looks especially good (in a fugly kinda way)!

Thank you! And keeping up with the spirit of sexy-ugly... ;)

Excellent drawings!!!!!

I think that the Saro design is more suited to a bomber than a fighter.

Regards.

A quick one, just to say that I'm still alive ;D

I had my concerns. ;) It would be fun to have it dropping para-frag bombs (circa 1944), since that is all we could afford after buying the awesome aircraft.

I really like the Martin 278 & 302 designs: They're both really sleek designs

The high-wing F-5 is something truly gorgeous, both your skill in rendering it and the basic design itself.

The ALR Piranha is a design that's so easy to love

I'm really happy to see the B-70 in grey trim too

Indeed, as always, your work is splendid and one of the highlights of a visit to the site.

As always you're too kind ;)

Here's some more to part ways with 2016, in the hope that 2017 will be somewhat kinder to us all...

Oddly enough, I think the P.1128 is my favorite of those, although, they all look great. Thanks for sharing.

Quoting Linus is always a safe bet. ;)

I envy you, your talent is wonderful. I like the Italian (?) racing plane myself. Then I was born thirty-five years late.
