Research question.
I know that the literature on Woomera currently states that there was no linkage between Woomera and the British testing of Atomic weapons in Australia and the Pacific. It beggars the belief that there was no relationship /connection.
With the setting up of the Long Range Weapons facility at Woomera 1947-1952, has anyone any information that at Woomera there was any development of atomic weapons, guidance systems, bomb trials, that were leading towards new atomic weapons,including modifications of planes?
Or any other development to counter Soviet nuclear-armed bombers
I would very much like to hear anyone thoughts on this matter Thanks Vonbaron
