The Benes LD-605 was a transport glider prototype at Czechoslovakia in
1951,but it was never completed.

Well, there has been a fair bit of work done over the past decade on UAVs that are in effect, unmanned cargo gliders.

Transport and assault gliders were a hang-over from World War 2. Gliders were replaced by helicopters during the 1950s.

Sure. That's why there was no LD-605 built. Instead of it the Soviets delivered the Yak-14 gliders, and soon those were also replaced by helis.
By the way, Habán is old coloquial term for a tall person, and also even more antiquated term for a member of the anabaptist movement (i.e. Hutterites and similar) who settled in Moravia in the 16th century and were later forced out, leaving behind a lot of knowledge about wine making, agriculture and, presumably, being really tall.

Yes, people raised in Northern China tend to be much taller than the average Chinese citizen. We have a few really tall (2 metres) men at work.
My short, Hong Kong-born friend attributes his small stature to a lack of zinc in the Southern (Canton) soil and diet.
