I've read about this one before. Highly practical for military and intelligence (espionage, surveillance, assassination, etc.) use.

We are closer to the "screamers" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Variety). In the future, I think that things would be a kind of weapon more dangerous than today's 60 ton MBTs.
