Astropolis is a SpaceHotel proposed by Ehricke around 1968
and presented to public in Article in Magazine Playboy November 1968
Ehricke label Astropolis as: a vast, variegated paradise, a pleasure palace floating in orbit far above the surface of the Earth

the Space City has a mass of 2200000 pounds, full supplied and occupied with 1000 guest and 100 personnel
it has four 12 story Hotels, with various restaurants, clubs, bistros, a Ballroom, two theaters, a casino and shopping center
Astropolis as two Dynariums enormous playrooms for guest
the biggest Dynarium is 200 ft. sphere with zero gravity, another one feature a large sphere of Water as "aqua pool" in zero gravity
other Dynarium feature 1/3 gravity of Earth.

for restaurants Astropolis will produce it own food based on grow plants and lifestock raised on board !

the Structure and Modules are build from Aluminium honeycomb with inside heavy layer of polyethylene radiation shielding
with inner lining of incombustible fluorocarbon plastics
all internal structure are build from fiberglass honeycomb
Each stateroom has it's own shelter, a central polyethylene tube (in Hotel and habitats)
in case of decompression the persons enter the Tube, in case of Solar storm they ware a Water filled jacket inside tube.

Astropolis is 1200 ft. long a central axis and 600 ft. on four extensions (rotate two revolutions per minute)
the Hotel modules are internal 30 ft. in diameter and are 12 ft. high ceiling
complete floors are available as four bed rooms or halved two bed rooms

Power is supply by four nuclear reactors on long cables on four extensions

Astropolis orbit Earth in a Polar orbit !
at first sound insane but Ehricke speculated on all over World access to Astropolis, what make a sense for a Hotel.
