Part of the Apollo 14 mission, Astronaut Stuart Roosa carried seeds in his personal kit. Upon his return, the seeds were germinated by the forest service and distributed around the country and world. I have been to the "Moon Tree" at the Holliston Police Station in Massachusetts. There are many more around, this website
