I created a topic in "Designation systems" listing the known Alfaro aircraft:
http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,21317.0.html
Here is another topic to show some of these designs.

The Alfaro 11 was described in the Spanish magazine Aérea, May 1924:
http://bdh.bne.es/bnesearch/detalle/0004907513
It is a single-seat light sesquiplane with Bristol Cherub engine, designed in Spain after Alfaro came back from the US.
Its construction was started in the workshops of the Escuela Industrial, under direction of Mariano Moreno Caracciolo. It is not known if the aircraft was actually completed.

Two worthy additions to our forum, thanks a lot for this c460!

Thanks Stargazer!
Here is the Alfaro X-13 entered by David Ingalls at the Guggenheim Safe Aircraft Designation (1927-1929):
http://www.aerofiles.com/guggen-sac.html
For the same aircraft, I've seen the names "Ingalls Safety Airplane" and "Alfaro SA-1" (SA surely for "Safety Airplane").
Its Warner Scarab 110 engine is currently preserved at the Smithsonian NASM:

Here is also the TH E.2 designed by Alfaro (actually a copy of the Caudron G.3) and made by Talleres Hereter c.1919. It is surely "Alfaro 5" in the list of Alfaro designs.

Hi Maveric,

From the retrospective list published in Aérea, May 1924, the Alfaro 1 is a glider made by Alfaro prior to his motored aircraft, the description of the Alfaro 4 clearly corresponds to the biplane shown.
The aircraft you show as "Alfaro I" I've seen described elsewhere as Alfaro 2, and your drawing of the "Alfaro II" might fit the description of the Alfaro 3 in Aérea.

It is possible that the designation system you mention was used at some time, before Alfaro renumbered his designs starting from the early glider. Or it is possible that there is an error in either source. But the Aérea listing seems logical, and seems to cover the whole production up to 1924.

Here is the Alfaro 8, from the excellent Spanish annual Aeroplano (no.20), freely available online:

This is a later glider designed by Alfaro when he was in the United States, called Alfaro LPG-2-30, registered 10539 in the US:
http://www.aerofiles.com/regs-10.html
I don't know any pic of the Alfaro 1, which was made before 1914.

The Alfaro 11;

"More about the early Alfaro designs".

Thanks very much, great find.

So, I made some interesting snapshots out of the youtube video in the aeroclub video
First of all
...also is this Alfaro I...

The glider mentioned by Maveric is earmarked as LPG-2-30. My gut feeling the 30 stands for the year.

And the final one is a good snapshot of all major Heraclio types. Here you see that Alfaro 1 is deemed a glider out of 1910

I would like to share some newly discovered photographs of the Heraclio Alfaro sailplane flown by Ralph Barnaby in the 1932 3rd National Soaring Contest at site #6 Rhodes Farm, Elmira, NY. This sailplane was nicknamed "The Hummingbird" because of its singing wires. These photos are from the Ralph Barnaby Collection - National Soaring Museum.

Two more photos of the Alfaro X-13. An interesting detail here is the logo of the Alfaro company, consisting of the Greek letters "alpha" and "rho".
