Alacrán (Scorpion) artillery rocket

Also known as "VT-561" or "FAS-320".

Range: 120-km
Warhead: 400-kg (bomblets)
Weight: 1620-kg

Unguided artillery rocket developed apparently with European (possibly German?) assistance. Tested at least twice at the Chamical range in La Rioja, Argentina with dummy warhead. Single-stage solid engine. The program was abandoned sometime in the early 1990s.

A few more pictures depicting the nose section. and a preserved example. The warhead was to consist of CAM-1 anti-personnel or MOR-1 anti-tank submunitions, which I've yet to find pictures of.

The Alacrán missile is also known as the Condor I-A III
