Looks like a blended hull design, similar to the Convair Skate designs.
Was there a relation between them ?

It is the same airframe than that of the AS.37

The strange thing is that this seaplane jetfighterproject
is not mentioned in the Airspeed designation list.
Although the hull lines and the tailplane are clearly Airspeed...

Could it be that this project was designed by the writer of the
"Flight" article about the floating base concept ?
