Hi,

I found this Project for single seat light monoplane,powered by one engine of 1948,
and it was designed E.M. Bell,has anyone a more Info or drawing to it ?.

the Aerotec Research Group designed a single seat microlight aircraft Project of 1947,called Sportsman.

Also Mr. G. D. Bedson designed a single seat ultra-light monoplane in 1948,
powered by one engine,any drawing to it ?.

Apparently, that unbuilt 1948 ground trainer was very similar to Gordon Bedson's later Resurgam Mk.3 micro-light. So, it would have been a tiny, high-winged monoplane with an open cockpit and tricycle undercarriage. Wings would be constant-chord with a tapered tailplane. A small engine was mounted at the aft end of the fuselage 'pod' driving a pusher prop, spinning above an aluminum 'pole' rear fuselage.

Bedson had resumed work on the concept after moving to Australia. Eventually, theResurgam Mk.3 led to the Seabird Rouseabout. Gordon Bedson also designed and built a prototype 2-seat Magra variant in 1984 but was killed on its maiden flight (when a wing strut failed).
