Thanks for sharing, Maveric, but the "Sorry, only in German" bit is no longer an argument now that we have that great tool called Google Translate! That's how I turned the Vega Model Numbers list into English and since this LeO list is not too long, translating the stuff could be of great service, don't you think so?
 
@ Stargazer2006 Maybe You're right advising to use the Google Translate,
but there are so simple and obvious expressions in Maveric's list, that everybody interesting
in the aicraft history should know them ;D So Maveric, don't be sorry :p
Thanks very much for Your list, now I'm working hard on completing the Soviet aircraft designations,

Yes, with the "acute accent" (´ in HTML coding).

NOT to be mistaken for Loire (no accent, please note the inverted vowels), the longest French river which basically separates France in two horizontally and whose name can also be found in aviation related documents.

The 1926 LeO-122 mentioned by Boogie led to the LeO-20 series.

do you mean 1934 ?,that is becuase the LeO-30 and LeO-301 were appeared
in 1933.

But then, we have a double designation: LeO. 300 bomber and LeO. C.30 autogyro (licenced Cierva C.30A).

The LeO 50 was the last design of that company, and was redesignated as the S.E.100, as explained in Air International dated April 1985.

LeO Project for BN.3,a three seat night bomber,with 5 machine-guns and 950 kg bombs and
a 600 km range,and maybe that's it,via my dear Tophe.

A bit more detail on LeO 45 series designations ...

For the LeO 45 series, Lioré-et-Olivier followed the typical French pattern of adding a number for major variant changes. Further numerals were added for prototypes and production sub-type variants ... so, LeO 458.01 was the first prototype of the eighth variant; LeO 458.1 was the first production variant (although there could be more than one batch of each variant).

Some variants and modifications were given letters instead. The variant letters that apply to the LeO 45 series are as follows:

C --- Commercial
E --- Essais (Test)
LC -- Long Courrier (Long-range courier)
M --- Marine (Navy)
P --- Photographic (Photo)
Ph -- Photographique (Photo)
T --- Transport

One puzzle comes from a decision to end Aéronavale's slow-moving 1937 Hydravion éclaireur de combat (Combat scout seaplane) program in favour of torpedo-carrying Leo 451s. Were torpedo racks to be fitted to the LeO 456/LeO 451M? Or does this refer to the Navy's unmodified LeO 451s? Or to the unordered LeO 458M (of which Aéronavale wanted 300)?

LeO C.30 was a license built Cierva C.30 autogyro,powered by one 175 hp
Salmson 9 Ne engine
LeO C.30S was a construction number 26 was completed as the sole C-30S
LeO C.301 was an improved C-30s with uprated Messier oleo-pneumatic
shock absorbers, flotation devices to facilitate ditching at sea and tripod
main rotor support
