This picture is known to me as "this another MiG 1.44" I want to know, if it is real, impression based on something real or pure what-if and what is its origin. Any help is welcome.

It's an artists' rendering, purely fantasy. I remember visiting their site. The rendering was quite detailed - this has been post-processed.

This gets a bit silly sometimes. The CMF just analysed a picture marked "J-10C". It was quite blatently someones' what-if made by making a 1.42 model in PLAAF markings...Then again, Jane's sometimes does the same with airshow models.

Got It!

...I meant 1.44, of course.

The picture originates here:

Answer from Tim Cameron (author):

"It was an idea I sketched while I was working on a printing press in 1982, and found it in a desk drawer 20 years later when I decided to model it in 3D. Someone in the US working on a JSF promo 3D animation wanted to use my MiG to give their 3D JSF proposal something worthy to fight! Ultimately I said No."

Another mystery solved.
