...as my dream to see YF-23...Anyone has details?

"The Western Museum of Flight will close her hangar doors to the public as of July 26th. 2006
We are currently taking inventory and packaging our assets for storage.
Please check back with us for additional information about our future. "

:(((

The first YF-23 is currently at the USAF Museum undergoing restoration, so you'll be able to see that one eventually!

Yep, I know, but WMOF had a very friendly staff...and the story itself is not a cake...first NG takes PAV-2. from a loan...scheduled to return in July to WMOF...and then museum packing its stuff...OK, YF-17 was my second lovely a/c...Otherwise, Wright-Patterson is close to my grandma's sister Chicago...

It is a pity that Dayton is so far away from the coast - too far to drive, not far enough to justify the excessive regional airfare.

It will be interesting to see where all the older Northrop design records, that hte WMOF holds, end up.
