The "Rockwell maybe" design probably is from Rockwell - similar to these designs.

The Rockwell ejector augmented flow design managed to underscore what the Lockheed XV-4A "Hummingbird" had also demonstrated; there are way too many loses for such an ejector augmentation to work in full scale aircraft. I'm glad further efforts with that technology have not been pursued.

Rockwell did in 1981

Wow, just wow  these drawings are signed by my aircraft design mentor.
I spent a couple of years working with him on the design of the ATTA-3000 in the late 80's. Unfortunately he passed away in 1993 (IIRC).
I wish he could see what I am working on nowadays.
Thanks for sharing, this is awesome!

Hello all,
Here's a drawing of the NR-356-035C. Its the predicessor of the 1982 Dorsal intake figher. That to is from the design progression that started with the XFV-12A ( NR-356). There was a interium design NR-356-026E,advanced wing-canard configuration. This had a longer fuselage, modified canard and a dorsal intake. I have only ever seen a top view of this A/C. Does anyone out there ever seen a 3-view of this configuation? Enjoy the 3 view of the -035C

Nice! Quite an interesting so-called "missing link." Thanks for sharing. ;)

Excuse me. I added some treatments.

Its the report already posted above (http://ntrs.nasa.gov/archive/nasa/casi.ntrs.nasa.gov/19840020669.pdf). Best case, a better scan, but I wouldn't bet money on that.

Hi,

this fighter was called Model 141-005A,and to know that designation, look to Space Project
section.

One of the drawings above is labeled 141-023Q for the baseline design.

OK my dear Paul,

and that series of NAA/Rockwell was weird, and we find in space section Model-130C.

This design was the offspring of the XFV-12, I believe. The idea was that the losses in the system could be reduced by making the ejectors thicker in section and longer in chord than was possible if they were built into the wing and canard trailing edges.
