Best regards to all.

What are those gradient triangles in the fuselage? Lights?

Hi,

the AL-40 was nuclear powered hydroplane of the 1960s,and look for this
strange concept of 1936.
The drawing shows a 1936 plane, not the AL-40 nuclear powered seaplane. Anyone have drawings or specs for the AL-40 nuclear powered flying boat.

I'm looking for information on the following models

Al-40
MDR (Морской Дальний rазведчик) 1,2 and 3

My dear Robertino,

for AL-40 please see reply # 35,and for A-58 please see reply # 77,and for STAL-5 please see;

and from a Russian book about Bartini;

The last prison design bureau project proposed in 1947 became a heavy military transport twin-beam and two-
fins aircraft T-200, according to the scheme,close to the T-117, - a high-wing aircraft with a large fuselage, the
contours of which were formed by a wing profile. The Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute even built a test
bench to verify the proposed technical solutions.The rear of the fuselage, formed by the wing profile, opened
up and down between the two tail beams, and opened a passage five wide and three high meters for loading
bulky goods and equipment.A combined power plant was proposed, including two piston star-shaped four-
row engine (apparently ASH-2) with a capacity of 2800 hp and couples turbojet RD-45F thrust of 2270 kgs
located in common with piston nacelle motors. At the junction of the fuselage with the wing of its chord,
it reached 5.5 meters,and for continuous flow around the bearing surface in the T-210 version provided
boundary layer management.In 1952, Bartini was developing a flying boat T-203, and even more grandiose
was a project of a two-fins T-217 aircraft with four turboprop engines and strut high wing type "reverse gull".
But they are all so remained on paper.

For T-107,T-108 & T-210,a small Info.

Was Bartini T-107 the first Russian airplane with a cargo ramp under the tail?

Anyways, from what I've read, the Bartini-Beriev VVA-14 was built as a response to the United State's Polaris-armed submarines. The aircraft could fly normally, but could also transition into the Ground Effect and fly as if it were an ekronoplan. Some sources also state that the aircraft could take-off vertically, however, I don't believe that it was capable of doing so.

Cheers,

Wyvern

From le Fana 293,

here is some Batini aircraft and Projects,the mystery in picture # 3,and whole known
airplanes from him is in # 4.

In the middle is OVA-62 project (with two engines) and PVA-62 (with four engines). There were some another projects on base MVA-62. One of the interesting was MVA-62T with passangers inside floats.

Hi to all!
Ucon (Konstantin Udalov) and I just created a Facebook group devoted to Bartini's projects. We will post many drawings, pictures and documents about his work. It is another good place for discussion about this subject. You are all invited!!

Hi! T-200.
https://antonkachinskiy.livejournal.com/29910.html
"The T-200 did not reach the manufacturing stage, which could be for the better, as it would hardly have been possible to bring it, and aviation during its creation developed so quickly that by the time of its first flight it would have become obsolete.

The T-200 is a transport aircraft project, to some extent a development of the previous project - the T-117. However, it is also an indirect descendant of the German transport aircraft of the time WW2 - Arado -232. The report on this aircraft was released in 1944, and Bartini seems to have read it, and borrowed from there the border layer control system. But it's not all relatives of the T-200. The aircraft was to install the fuselage in the form of a wing profile. The idea was that it would create a lifting force, and in addition, the large size of the width contributed to the placement of large cargoes. At least that's what it was in theory. But on the practice built aircraft of such a scheme usually flew badly ..."
