Wondering what else is coming out in the wings next? Had the J-20 and J-21 stealth fighters and Sharp Sword U/CAV (nice resemble to Taranis / X-47 / Neuron) in last year or two.....

Cheers

Hi there;

For what it's worth, a bit outdated but interesting for the sake of historical completedness. On flankers-site.co.uk website, one author posted a full pictorial trip report of a visit paid to Xiao Tang Shan (Chinese Aviation Museum) on November 14, 2010.
That's here:

Two pictures of a stealth-looking bomber project / mock-up attracted my attention. Direct image links:

Enjoy!

Yep. But at least this "joke" is documented on SPF. And it will be interesting, in the future, to see if this "joke" has a place in studies, or timelines, etc. whenever H-8 / H-20 histories are publicly unveiled. Having something like that shown in a museum is always interesting.

Hi,

the Xian developed a strategic stealth bomber called H-X,no one knows its shape,but many
sites just speculate.

the lines off the tail are not parralel to the wing.
First rule off stealth is make the lines so few as possible

And the article I read said they want it to be a large, supersonic heavy bomber. Like Blackjack/B-1B but without the "old fashioned" swing-wings. Like to see how they plan to pull that off without swing-wings.

First rule of stealth is we do not talk about stealth.

The claim of a flight-tested H-8 stealth bomber is unsourced and fictitious; the Xian H-20 stealth bomber is reportedly to be unveiled at a military parade in Tiananmen Square this October 1 marking the PRC's 70th birthday (https://www.businessinsider.com/chi...eiled-2019-could-threaten-us-carriers-2018-10).
