"Stratosphere Flying

A recent cable message from Paris states that M. Rene Couzinet, a leading aeroplane constructor, has submitted to the Air Ministry plans for an aeroplane with a hermetically sealed cabin designed to reach an altitude of 36,000 feet, and having a speed of 250 miles an hour. M. Couzinet says that the machine will fly to New York from Paris in 16 hours, and will represent an important advance towards flights in the stratosphere. The Hispano Suiza firm has designed the engines."
